Just Dreaming1735 viewsJust Dreaming is a reclining form, about 1.4 metres in length. When she was lying on my drive outside my shed she was often stroked by visitors who enjoyed her very smooth finish (like marble).

My lady is pushing her way out of the stone and into the light, and evolving as she does.
Her body is ultra-smooth and lovely to touch, her hair which is being torn free from the stone is rough, and the rest of the stone from is unsealed so it is grey and aged.

Great Expectations (II)1168 viewsI was asked to carve a bigger version of this statue to go outside of the new birthing Unit in Hastings. So instead of 60cm tall, this lady stands 1.3m. So she is taller and a bit further along in her pregnancy. I hope the people going in to the hospital enjoy her.

fern bowl1290 viewsA few months ago I was asked to make a birdbath. I was given dimensions for the bowl, but after I started rounding out the outside I was emailed to say they had given me the wrong dimensions. For a long time the round top sat un-formed and alone, then one day I thought of this... based on fern leaves and fronds.
